Who will ever ignore
A city beaming with beauty?
Who would never recall
The locals that are friendly?

Who would never want to see
The dainty city near the sea?
Who would never want to feel
The calming wind’s serenity?

Legazpi, a city by the Pacific
Landscapes are panoramic
Ambience quite romantic
And delicacies fantastic…

So it might be nice to tour
The City of Fun and Adventure
And if you’re a foodie, savour
Its spicy culinary culture
For there, you will discover
The dishes that sting
The volcano that’s stunning
The rides so exciting

Found on the extreme east of the world
Across the wide expanse of an ocean
Very far from other places
But home to many good surprises

Legazpi, a city by the Pacific
A place comely in many ways
Legazpi, the city which beams with beauty
A place of elegance and grace...

    One thing that I've always missed when I studied in Manila was my hometown, Legazpi City- its fresh air, the beautiful Mayon, and the people. I'm glad that I'm back in this wonderful city and be able to see its beauty everyday ❤

    It is no wonder why Legazpi City is known as one of the most competitive cities in the country. And I have proven this after my one year of stay here and it already served as my second home. I hope to discover more of its beauty in the future.

    Visiting Legazpi almost everyday made me get used to the place. Sometimes, I even fail to appreciate its beauty and perceive it as ordinary because I see it all the time.

    Well, would you look at that! Legazpi, with it's amazing features eventually created splendid poets. I'm lost for words!! Legazpi always brings a smile to my face just as when I get to see the majestic view of Mt. Mayon and even the lights we witness as we visit the boulevard. I'm proud to be an Albayano and I'm proud of this poet! Hoping for more interesting and alluring poems about Legaspi! 💯

    I totally agree with this poem, Sir. It typically sums up everything that a tourist may find and see when they visit Legazpi City. Also, all of the adjectives that were used in each line have greatly defined its noun. It also leaves me asking myself whether there is any other poem that can better describe Legazpi City than this poem, because I really do think that this poem is the best of the best :) - Sioco, Christian Joseph B.     As someone who grew up in this city, it is a privilege to see this wonderful city to bloom from the scratch into what is now. A city where the beauty of Mayon stands enticingly behind the city lights, Legazpi is something that will be forever treasured in my heart.

September 2023.  My birthmonth, my birthyear. I was born in the year of the hare, so 2023 - being another year of the hare - had to be special.  Everybody knows of my Euro Tour with my aunt and my sister, but, contrary to what most people think, the tour was not at all premeditated. It was a split-second decision. So many countries were considered. Spain and Portugal came to mind. Thailand seemed plausible. Nearby Indonesia was considered, and because Singapore was close enough, it was also suggested. Malaysia came into the radar too. Roman Catholic Church, the largest religion in the world, has its capital in the micro-state of Vatican City.  We visited its hallowed grounds during our Rome explorations. It is officially my fourth country after the Philippines, U.A.E., and Italy. We were there by a couple of hours on two separate days while still staying in Rome. Despite its small size, the Vatican is grand in many respects. No less than the pope is its sovereign head. Its main basilica is massive. Monaco is indeed the wealthiest, most affluent nation in the world... and the dollars are speaking from amongst everything you see in every corner of this miniscule country.   This is the third chapter of the historical fantasy entitled " Rhapsody of Nature ." Synopsis:   The magnificent cave exhibited more than just resplendence, and the end of it dazzled the spectator... White, blue and gold were all he could see. They're everywhere, from where he stood... to the farthest his sight could reach. As he moved along, the rose petals slowly vanished, until it was very light but with a much sweeter tinge. "Seems like a big cave," he uttered in disbelief. He wanted to see more, ever-curious he has always been. Regardless of mood or circumstance, it remains? And when it fades because of a tweak here or there, it is but a mirage? I guess I’ve felt what it’s supposed to be – for ladies I cannot be with. A Surprising Turn in the Yuletide Season

          The 2018-19 Holiday Season was particularly amusing for our family.  On Christmas Eve, my sister prepared a cheesecake with fruit medley overlay.  I should mention that she has this special ability in preparing foods.  Christmas 2018. Our family unwrapping the gifts. My sister was holding our pet cat Chloe Ands.           Since childhood, she always had this distinct talent in concocting delicious meals for the family; every dish she completes seems to have an artist’s touch. I still remember the taste of the dishes and foods she prepared as a child – from those simple hotdog-cheese-catsup toasts to angel-hair spaghetti.            She doesn’t disappoint so I was certain that this cheesecake with fruit medley overlay was going to be splendid.  On the midnight of Christmas, the cheesecake was still too soft for consumption so my sister placed it back inside the fridge.
